Network Marketing Class In Session by Rellie Lorenzo
The goal of this article is to assist the active entrepreneur in gaining proper perspective for marketing success. It really does not matter if you are an affiliate marketer or a good old fashion salesman. Anyone in business can benefit from these principles. Network marketers everywhere are thoroughly engaged in their new course, E-book, or list-building tool that they completely neglect the basics leaving hundreds or thousands of dollars on the table.
Video marketing can not be ignored. It would benefit an entrepreneur greatly to utilize this platform to the fullest. But it is important to play it smart. People do not like to read the terms of service because they are usually in a hurry. Video submission sites like Vimeo and YouTube are cutting down on the spammers and copyright infringement abusers. They are known to cancel accounts quicker than Facebook and Myspace. Make sure you read the rules and play by them.
Your videos must aim to give value. You can educate, entertain, and/or empower. Video marketing is very effective due to the visual and audio experience given to your potential prospect. Your viewer feels as if they have access to you. Through the videos they get to know you and start to feel a sense of a trust towards you. We all know that trust is the backbone of business. It is worth noting that a good quality HD camcorder will go a long way and it will take care of you if you take care of it.
Pay-Per-Click is still to this day a very powerful approach to growing your business at a fast pace. That is if you have the funds. If you are not careful you can be a victim of PPC instead of a positive testimony of PPC. If it is new territory for you then I highly recommend that you look into jumping on a course or training program that can further your knowledge of PPC. It is one of the quicker ways to build your list but you do not want your account zapped overnight because you did not invest time into gaining a better grasp of this form of advertising.
Forum marketing is probably one of the first forms of social marketing before Facebook, Twitter, or Myspace. It is designed to build a community of like minded people. So when you sign up to join a business forum online, dive in with the goal to be of service to others. Ensure that you are answering people’s questions if you know how to help them. Have a tactful signature block for your posts. Your signature block should link back to your blog or website that you want to promote. My recommendation for you is to jump into more than one business forum that is relevant to your business. If you are in a networking company then forums that cover business topics such as Entrepreneurship and home based businesses will have potential prospects and leads.
Right now the gold is at Facebook. People are on Facebook for hours on in. I suggest that you moderate your time on the very sociable website. Just make sure you are productive and socializing properly. There are still people on there that are throwing caution to the wind and sending bulk private messages that lead to humility and embarrassment. Basically they are going about it the wrong way. Facebook has more than one method of sharing value. You can use the status updates to give your network a golden wisdom nugget. You can write a note giving advice to your friends on Facebook. You can upload a video showing others how to setup a fan page. You can setup a fan page and tweak it every now and then. The fan page is very effective because you can build a strong following of fans and setup and opt in on your fan page to get leads for your business.
Twitter marketing has not even hit its teen years and people everywhere are understanding how truly effective it is. With an unlimited amount of followers and the fact that Twitter is free, you cannot go wrong if you put effort, energy, and time into this platform.
I have barely even scratched the surface. There is an abundance of opportunities to market your business. There is article marketing, blogging, SEO, and networking in general.

In this book, a noted group of researchers use findings, methods, and theories of modern psychology as the basis for gaining important, new insights into entrepreneurship-and into the hearts and minds of the talented, passionate professionals who create new business ventures. The Psychology of Entrepreneurship, a volume in the SIOP Organizational Frontiers Series, is the first book written about the psychology of entrepreneurship, and includes over 60 research questions to guide industrial organizational psychology, organizational behavior, and entrepreneurship research about entrepreneurs. Researching Entrepreneurship $60.72 Entrepreneurship is a phenomenon of tremendous societal importance. It is also an elusive phenomenon, and researching entrepreneurship is therefore fun, fascinatinga "and frustrating at times. In Researching Entrepreneurship, one of the most highly recognized entrepreneurship scholars shares in a personal and readable way his rich experience and ideas on how entrepreneurship can or should be researched. After a comprehensive treatment of entrepreneurship as societal phenomenon and scholarly domain, the core chapters of the book discuss design, sampling, operationalization and analysis issues on several levels of analysis: individual, venture, firm, industry, region and nation. The author provides numerous examples of problems and solutions from real research projects, as well as experienced-based suggestions for further improvements in future work. The book is targeted primarily at doctoral students and other (relative) newcomers to the field of entrepreneurship research. However, taking a fresh, reflective perspective and looking beyond research conventions, it should provide potential for inspiration and food for thought also for experienced entrepreneurship researchers. Moreover, while the examples are taken from entrepreneurship research, the book provides a unique "experienced empirical researcher" (rather than "textbook method expert") treatment of issues that are of equal relevance across the social sciences. This goes for topics such as the role of theory; qualitative vs. quantitative research; validity checking; statistical inference, and replication. Per Davidsson is Professor in Entrepreneurship at Brisbane Graduate School of Management, QUT, Australia, and JAnkAping International Business School, Sweden. He is also Chair of the Research Committee of the Entrepreneurship Division of the (American) Academy of Management. |
