Our Phoenix movers are very professional and ready to serve your moving needs. Here is a checklist that may be helpful to prepare for your move. It is advised to rekey your new apartment or home. You never know who is running around with a copy of your key.
It is also advised to get pleanty of rest the night before you move and drink plenty of fluids. I personally advise that when you are transferring your services, you should call around for new rates. Sometimes we tend to get caught up with the same company because we checked thier rates when we signed up with them. Take it from someone that knows how it works. It never hurts to make a few phone calls everytime or every year our contract is coming up. I do this with my cell phone carrier. It might not be the cheapest coverage out there but it serves my needs the best for the price.

The Weirdness $3.07 Their rudely urgent brand of earsplitting garage rock and bawdy English blues straddled the ’60s into the ’70s, but, sadly, the Stooges disintegrated in 1973, leaving their insurgent leader Iggy Pop to power through more than three decades of music alone. But a phone call to the surviving members and siblings Ron (guitar) and Scott Asheton (drums) to play on Pop’s 2003 record Skull Ring led to the… |

Dangerous Ideas $20.79 When was the last time you truly came up with a great idea? An idea which changed the direction of your sector, never mind your company? Creativity has been turned into an uncreative, pale imitation of itself. Today our brain tricks us into thinking that we’re creative when we really aren’t. Our potential is greater than we’re aware of, but the risk of getting stuck in comfortable thinking is far greater than we tend to think. |

Making Ideas Happen $18.99 How the world’s leading innovators push their ideas to fruition, time and time again. Edison famously said that genius is 1 percent inspiration, 99 percent perspiration. Ideas for new businesses, solutions to the world’s problems, and artistic breakthroughs are common, but great execution is rare. According to Scott Belsky, the capacity to make ideas happen can be strengthened by anyone willing to build their organizational habits and harness the forces of community. That’s why he founded Behance, a company that helps creative people and teams across industries develop these skills. Belsky has spent six years studying the habits of especially productive creative people and teams-the ones who make their ideas happen time and time again. After interviewing hundreds of successful creatives, he has compiled their most powerful-and often counterintuitive-practices, such as: *Generate ideas in moderation and act without conviction *Reduce all projects to just three primary components *Encourage fighting within your team *Seek competition and share ideas liberally In an increasingly flexible and entrepreneurial environment, creative minds have the opportunity (and responsibility) to solve and change industries-but they can only do that if they overcome the obstacles. While many of us obsess about discovering great new ideas, Belsky shows why it’s better to develop the capacity to make ideas happen-a capacity that endures over time. |

Weird Ideas That Work $10.99 Creativity, new ideas, innovation — in any age they are keys to success, but in today’s whirlwind economy they are essential for survival itself. Yet, as Robert Sutton explains, the standard rules of business behavior and management are precisely the opposite of what it takes to build an innovative company. We are told to hire people who will fit in; to train them extensively; and to work to instill a corporate culture in every employee. In fact, in order to foster creativity, we should hire misfits, goad them to fight, and pay them to defy convention and undermine the prevailing culture. Weird Ideas That Work codifies these and other proven counterintuitive ideas to help you turn your workplace from staid and safe to wild and woolly — and creative. Stanford professor Robert Sutton is an authority on innovation and a popular speaker. In Weird Ideas That Work he draws on extensive research in behavioral psychology to explain how innovation can be fostered in hiring, managing, and motivating people; building teams; making decisions; and interacting with outsiders. Business practices like “hire people who make you uncomfortable,” “reward success and failure, but punish inaction,” and “decide to do something that will probably fail, and then convince yourself and everyone else that success is certain” strike many managers as strange or even downright wrong. Yet Weird Ideas That Work shows how some of the best teams and companies use these and other counterintuitive practices to crank out new ideas, and it demonstrates that every company can reap sales and profits from such creativity. Weird Ideas That Work is filled with examples of each of Sutton’s 11 1/2 practices, drawn from hi- and low-tech industries, manufacturing and services, information and products. More than just a set of bizarre suggestions, it represents a breakthrough in management thinking: Sutton shows that the practices we need to sustain performance are in constant tension with those that foster new ideas. The trick is to choose the right balance between conventional and “weird” — and now, thanks to Robert Sutton’s work, we have the tools we need to do so. |

Capital Ideas Evolving $11.99 “A lot has happened in the financial markets since 1992, when Peter Bernstein wrote his seminal Capital Ideas. Happily, Peter has taken up his facile pen again to describe these changes, a virtual revolution in the practice of investing that relies heavily on complex mathematics, derivatives, hedging, and hyperactive trading. This fine and eminently readable book is unlikely to be surpassed as the definitive chronicle of a truly historic era.”. — John C. Bogle , founder of The Vanguard Group and author, The Little Book of Common Sense Investing. “Just as Dante could not have understood or survived the perils of the Inferno without Virgil to guide him, investors today need Peter Bernstein to help find their way across dark and shifting ground. No one alive understands Wall Street’s intellectual history better, and that makes Bernstein our best and wisest guide to the future. He is the only person who could have written this book; thank goodness he did.”. — Jason Zweig , Investing Columnist, Mone y magazine. “Another must-read from Peter Bernstein! This well-written and thought-provoking book provides valuable insights on how key finance theories have evolved from their ivory tower formulation to profitable application by portfolio managers. This book will certainly be read with keen interest by, and undoubtedly influence, a wide range of participants in international finance.”. — Dr. Mohamed A. El-Erian , President and CEO of Harvard Management Company, Deputy Treasurer of Harvard University, and member of the faculty of the Harvard Business School. “Reading Capital Ideas Evolving is an experience not to be missed. Peter Bernstein’s knowledge of the principal characters-the giants in the development of investment theory and practice-brings this subject to life.”. — Linda B. Strumpf , Vice President and Chief Investment Officer, The Ford Foundation. “With great clarity, Peter Bernstein introduces us to the insights of investment giants, and explains how they transformed financial theory into portfolio practice. This is not just a tale of money and models; it is a fascinating and contemporary story about people and the power of their ideas.”. — Elroy Dimson , BGI Professor of Investment Management, London Business School. ” Capital Ideas Evolving provides us with a unique appreciation for the pervasive impact that the theory of modern finance has had on the development of our capital markets. Peter Bernstein once again has produced a masterpiece that is must reading for practitioners, educators and students of finance.”. — André F. Perold , Professor of Finance, Harvard Business School |
